The Nail 

The four Hebrew letters of the Name Of The Lord are Yod, Hey, Vav and Hay.  The ancient picture language of the original Hebrew alphabet shows that the symbol for the letter Vav is a "nail". When you build a wood frame house the items most commonly used to hold the wood together are nails. "If" you were able to remove all of the nails in a house, by some miracle, the house would collapse. The "nail" though quite small in comparison to the rest of the structure is most essential to hold the house together. Lou Giglio points out that God when creating us used "laminin" to “hold us together.”  Webster's definition of laminin is, "a glycoprotein component of connective tissue basement membrane that promotes cell adhesion" ( if you look at laminin under a microscope you will see it is in the form of a Cross..by chance you might say..not so). Laminin to the body is what nails are to the house, without it we would collapse, our bodies would not have the glue or nails to hold it together. The Apostle Paul tells us in Colossians 1:17 (AMP) And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).
